The first study on littering since 1969 was completed. Here are a few of the results:

• The most littered items  were Tobacco products 38%, Paper 22%, Plastic 19%
• Plastic litter has increased by 165.4%
• Litter decrease property values by 7%
• Younger individuals are more likely to litter and report littering
